I study the widening gap between the speed of external change and our capacity to adapt - and the implications for how we live and work.
My work focuses on three interlocking questions:
What structural forces are driving this period of acceleration?
Why do our inherited institutions and leadership models struggle when the rules change?
How can we expand our adaptive capacity - psychologically and institutionally - without fragmenting under pressure?
Early in my career, I worked closely with the UK government — lobbying Parliament and navigating Whitehall. I saw first-hand how power operates, and how difficult meaningful systemic change can be.
In 2019, I spent a year at Harvard University studying technology, geopolitics and the structural forces reshaping the global order. During that time, I trained in adaptive leadership - an approach that continues to underpin my work.
Alongside writing and research, I advise organisations navigating structural transition - not simply to manage change, but to rethink how they adapt.
